Draft statuses
- Needs review — newly prepared, waiting for you.
- Approved — you confirmed the draft is ready.
- Discarded — removed without affecting the thread.
The review-first flow
- Open the draft alongside its source thread.
- Read the original messages to verify context.
- Edit body and tone freely.
- Approve, edit, or discard.
Approve is not Send (yet)
Approving a draft marks it as reviewed inside Inbox Pilot and logs an activity event. It does not transmit email. Direct outbound sending activates once your inbox connection is complete — see Integrations.
Regenerate
Regenerating a draft requires AI generation to be configured for your workspace. When unavailable, the regenerate action is disabled with an explanation rather than failing silently.
